Who we help in Tennessee

Music and creative professionals

Session players, songwriters and stage crews often earn in bursts. We help you estimate yearly income so your financial help stays accurate.

Logistics and manufacturing workers

Temporary and contract roles at distribution hubs and plants may not include benefits. A Marketplace plan can give you steady coverage.

Military families in transition

Leaving active duty near Fort Campbell? We explain how Marketplace coverage can fit once other coverage ends.

Lower-income households

When income is limited, we also check whether you or your kids may qualify for Medicaid or CHIP before recommending a plan.

How enrollment works in Tennessee

Tennessee residents enroll through HealthCare.gov, the federal Marketplace. The application asks about your household, your expected income and any coverage offered by an employer.

After you apply, we review your eligibility results with you, compare networks and drug coverage across plans, and help you finish enrollment so your coverage starts on time.

Key dates

  • Open Enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1 to December 15, 2026.
  • Enroll by December 15, 2026 for coverage starting January 1, 2027.
  • Outside Open Enrollment you need a Special Enrollment Period (moving, losing coverage, marriage, a baby).
  • Medicaid and CHIP can be applied for any time.

Getting the most from your plan in Tennessee

Tennessee has busy urban hospitals and many small-town clinics, and plan networks do not always reach both. Before you enroll, we check whether your family doctor, your children"s pediatrician and the hospital closest to home are included. If you split time between two parts of the state, we look for a plan that covers you in both places.

We also review your prescriptions against each plan"s drug list and explain how deductibles and copays work for office visits, urgent care and emergencies. Once you are enrolled, we stay in your corner. If a bill looks wrong, a card never arrives or your income changes mid-year, one call to our team gets you a clear next step instead of a phone tree.
