Who we help in Texas
Oil field, trucking and construction crews
Contract and rotation work often comes without benefits. We help you pick a plan that stays with you from one job site to the next.
Ranch, farm and rural families
Long distances make network checks essential. We confirm which nearby clinics and hospitals each plan includes before you commit.
Entrepreneurs and gig workers
Rideshare drivers, contractors and small shop owners can enroll directly and may qualify for financial help based on your income.
Households with lower income
If your income is on the lower side, we also check whether you or your children may qualify for Medicaid or CHIP instead of a Marketplace plan.
How enrollment works in Texas
Texas uses the federal Marketplace at HealthCare.gov. You create an account, estimate your household income for the coming year, and the Marketplace determines how much financial help you may receive.
We guide you through each screen, explain the difference between Bronze, Silver and Gold plans, and help you upload any documents the Marketplace requests after you apply.
Key dates
- Open Enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1 to December 15, 2026.
- Enroll by December 15, 2026 for coverage starting January 1, 2027.
- Outside Open Enrollment you need a Special Enrollment Period (moving, losing coverage, marriage, a baby).
- Medicaid and CHIP can be applied for any time.
Getting the most from your plan in Texas
Texas stretches across very different health care landscapes. A plan that works well in a large metro may have a thin network in the Hill Country or along the border, so we always start with where you live and which doctors you already see. If you travel between cities for work, we look for plans with broader networks and explain how out-of-network care is handled.
Prescriptions matter just as much. We compare each plan"s drug list for the medications you take and point out where a generic or preferred pharmacy could lower what you pay at the counter. You leave the call knowing what your deductible, copays and yearly out-of-pocket limit really mean, and exactly how to reach us when a question comes up later.
